| Some days we're ripped and torn away
From the shore and tossed to a watery grave
Set adrift in the depths of the drink in the hands of the gods we curse
We call for help when no one's around
Shot down fleeting thoughts never make a sound
Set adrift in the depths of the dark in the heart of the sea where we wish
I feel it in my bones when the storm is close
Then await for the rain and the wind to blow
As dark colors fill the sky I'm drenched I'm feeling so alive
Eyes closed tight my ears open for the boat
We all carry the tune we love
Think of home when the waves and the going get tough
Hold our breath and go down with the wish of just one last kiss to rest
I feel it in my bones when the storm is close
Then await for the rain and the wind to blow
As dark colors fill the sky I'm drenched I'm feeling so alive
Eyes closed tight my ears open for the boat

| Somebody fed me too much New Hope for breakfast,
cuz as the empire preemptively strikes back (again) and the voice of
Luke’s father baritones this is CNN I recall Arab kids slaughtered
reduced to sand-niggers and rag-heads. And now I’m expected to mourn
dead Americans?
Ok, so this is the deal.
I'm done with school in 2 weeks. Meaning I gotta get a job, or an internship or both.
So i got a job at this place ... www.jamboxstudio.com.. well an internship.
The people there are nice, but I really think there trying to capitalize on free labor. I am basically running their marketing. Today i had to make a list of NY labels (over 30 pages) and then the next time I go Lee (the co owner with his wife) wants me to call these labels up to talk to them about sending some sort of promotional stuff to them.
Basically he is doing some big marketing push, and hes getting interns to help him.. atleast thats what I think. If I stay there I doubt ill get to do much audio stuff, and the audio stuff I do do (if im lucky) will be all rap. The biggest thing is I dont think they will hire me ever, like i said I think they just want the free labor for all the scut work they are giving me right now..
Anyways, I kinda judged this from my interview. But I was afraid to say no to them, cause i'd feel dumb If i had trouble getting an internship somewhere else. Plus they really schmoozed me saying how great they thought I was, how good my resume' looked (how could it look good? lol) and all this other stuff.
Anyways, this was far from an old school , cool studio that I wanted to work at. So i sent out my resume to every studio on this list that didn't do hip hop and this one called me...
http://www.hotsound.com/
This is much closer to what I imagined and I talked to the guy for about 45 minutes on the phone. It definetly sounded cool, so now I want to go there and work. the guy also told me that they eventually hire interns as staff engineers. Which is really the point of interning... so this is hte place i want to work.
Wish me luck I interview their tomorrow... If i get it ill be extraordinarily happy

| "Rock For Sustainable Capitalism"
I fuckin' love that one rock video where
that fucking jack-ass mohawked millionaire
prances around by far the worst sausage party on earth,
where by mere chance he's caught on film shaking hands
with an incredibly diverse collection of patriotic skins.
I like the message it sends:
With a Rebel yell, Just Do Exactly What You're Told.
One million douche bags can't be wrong?
"When did punk rock become so safe?"
You'll excuse me if I laugh in your face
as I itemize your receipts
and PowerPoint your balance sheets.
I hear this year's Vans Warped Tour is "going green!"
I guess they heard that money grows on trees.
Hope they ship all those shitty bands overseas
like they did the factories.
Music's power to describe, compel, renew...
It's all a distant second to the offers you can't refuse.
Anyone remember when we used to believe
that music was a sacred place and not some fucking bank machine?
Not something you just bought and sold?
How could we have been so naive?
Well, I think when all is said and done,
just cause we were young doesn't mean we were wrong.
And I'll rock back and forth
on this two-bit hobbyhorse
'til she splinters and gives way.
I'll tend the flowers by her grave.
And whisper her name.
If anyone out there understands
can I please see a show of hands
just so I know I'm not insane?
Ever get the feeling you've been played?
Well, that's rock for sustainable capitalism and you know,
we may face a scorched and lifeless earth,
but they're accountable to their shareholders first.
That's how the world works.

| Alright, seeing as theres some big shit going down in sports, and i never speak about sports.. its about time I gave my opinion.
First the bigger 2 topics (The ref, and Vick)
As far as Vick goes, I hope he gets convicted. I hope he never plays in the NFL again and if he does, he should have to pay a lot of his money towards animal shelters and the like. Its disgusting, what he's doing, and I wish him the worst. I'm actually glad they are making an example out of him.
As for the ref. I hope they find out that there are other refs and some players involved. I hope they find out that the NBA is in so deep, that no one trusts them anymore and it has to close down. Seriously I hate basketball from about 1998 and up. Its become a joke and more boring then ever.
As for Bonds, I hate they guy. I wish they would have indicted him before he got close. He is an arrogant jerk off breaking a great man's record. He is not a victim. He was on steroids when he hit 73, and he used them from 1999- till just recenetly. (if hes still not on HGH). That chemist from balco saying that steroids could make your hand eye coordination better just shuts down the whole .. he still has great reflexes argument.
I wish Griffey Jr. never got hurt, he would be who I want to break it. I dislike AROD, and he will break it, hopefully clean.

| the same band wrote these lyrics..
So we boasted that we were champions,
Each country singing it's own praise.
Like a rock thrown into the ocean,
Humanity was rising to the top.
Two world wars later,
Countless "military interventions",
We erect monuments to history
And give apologies to the dead.
All that was fought for the living
Is quickly forgotten.
We don't remember the dates,
We don't remember the reasons.
We have no idea what's going on,
Building histories of western corporations.
It doesn't even turn my stomach
To see the pictures of atrocities anymore,
Going numb in the new order
Of the new century.
AND
I was dreaming of your love.
I was lost in your arms embrace.
Our bodies collied together.
Oh, this ultimate betrayal.
The heart will not resign.
What could be said what could be done?
I hold out hope for your reciprocation.
Like an Animal,
these thoughts have gone beyond my control.
For pleasure,
maybe just amusement.
